OVERVIEW

Conflicts in the Middle East and Central Asia have become more frequent and intense over the past two decades, leading to profound human and economic costs. Recent IMF research points to the importance of comprehensive policy efforts to restore macroeconomic stability, rebuild institutions, and mobilize financing for stronger and sustained post-conflict recoveries.

This moderated panel will discuss how policymakers can enhance the chances of sustaining peace and recovering back to pre-conflict economic trends.
