Investment in infrastructure is badly needed in both developed and developing countries to secure inclusive and sustainable growth. It is an essential foundation for countries to meet the Sustainable Development Goals and to build resilience to climate change. But the investment will be sustainable only if it is affordable and good value for taxpayer money. Brookings, the European Commission, and the IMF explore how to ensure good governance of infrastructure investments. This event is held under the umbrella of the EU-IMF Strategic Partnership and its framework to help developing countries achieve their Sustainable Development Goals.
